Dear DG Ed Alvarez, Global Presidents & Fellow Rotarians,
Rotary
Club of Makati South’s 29th Installation and Turnover
Ceremonies is over and the dye has been cast. The speeches have been
delivered and the tasks at hand have all been announced. The merry celebration
lasted until everyone has had their fill.
But before we go back to our drawing boards to implement the plans for
the rotary year, please allow me to take a moment to share this one message
that I have yet to say: Thank you everyone for taking the time to
be there with us, for sharing our plans, for your show of selfless support,
for believing, as much as I do that serving is a privilege and not a burden!
God has given us a task. Let
us count ourselves blessed that He considers us faithful enough to trust us
with it.

It is with great pride that I accept the great responsibility
of leading the prestigious
Rotary Club of Makati South.
Exactly a year ago, outgoing President Dars was given this enormous task
to lead our Club. Just looking at
IPP Dars right now overwhelms me and fills me with pride and joy.
President Dars along with his team of
directors, has brought honor to Rotary Club of Makati South by earning
the district’s 9 recognition awards.
